Planning your Umrah in 2026 and looking for a reliable, affordable, and complete Umrah package from Azamgarh or Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh? You have come to the right place.
This complete guide by Heba Al Safar covers everything you need to know before booking your Umrah 2026 — from choosing the right package and airline, to understanding what is included, how visa processing works, which hotels you will stay in, what Ziyarat you will experience in Makkah and Madinah, and exactly how much it will cost.
Read this guide fully before making your decision — and then call us when you are ready.
Why Umrah 2026 is Special — and Why You Should Book Early
The year 2026 corresponds to 1447-1448 in the Islamic Hijri calendar. August 2026 also coincides with the blessed month of Rabi ul Awwal — when Eid Milad un-Nabi is celebrated across the Muslim world. Performing Umrah during this spiritually elevated time carries extra blessing and significance for millions of pilgrims.
At the same time, demand for Umrah packages from India — especially from Uttar Pradesh — is increasing every year. Airlines like Saudia and Oman Air have limited seats departing from Lucknow. Hotels close to the Haram fill up months in advance. Visa processing from India takes 2 to 4 weeks minimum.
This means one thing — the earlier you book, the better your chances of getting your preferred departure date, your preferred hotel, and the best price.
Heba Al Safar recommends booking at least 6 to 8 weeks before your preferred departure date.

Complete Ziyarat Guide — Makkah al-Mukarramah
Masjid al-Haram and the Holy Kaaba The centre of the Islamic world. Here you perform Tawaf around the Kaaba, Sai between Safa and Marwa, and drink the blessed Zamzam water. The Haram is open 24 hours. Every moment spent here — whether in prayer, Tawaf, Quran recitation or just gazing at the Kaaba — carries immense reward.
Maqam Ibrahim The Station of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) — a glass-enclosed rock bearing the footprint of the Prophet Ibrahim (AS). After completing Tawaf, it is Sunnah to offer two rakah nafl prayer here.
Jabal al-Nour — Cave of Hira The blessed mountain where Angel Jibreel (AS) brought the first divine revelation to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The word Iqra — Read — was the first word of the Quran revealed here. Pilgrims climb the mountain and enter the small cave where this historic moment took place.
Jabal Thawr — Cave of Thawr The cave where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his closest companion Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) hid for three nights during the Hijra — the migration from Makkah to Madinah. A spider web and birds nest miraculously protected them from the Quraysh search party — a moment described in Surah at-Tawbah.
Masjid al-Jinn The mosque built at the exact location where a group of Jinns heard the Prophet (PBUH) reciting the Quran during his journey back from Taif and accepted Islam. This event is described in Surah al-Jinn in the Holy Quran.
Jannat ul Mualla The ancient graveyard of Makkah where the Prophet's (PBUH) first wife Hazrat Khadijah al-Kubra (RA), his grandfather Abdul Muttalib, and many other members of his blessed family are laid to rest.
Mina, Muzdalifah and the Plains of Arafat The three sacred sites of Hajj. The vast plain of Arafat is where on the Day of Arafah — the 9th of Dhul Hijjah — pilgrims stand in the most powerful act of worship in Islam. Even during Umrah visits, seeing these sites and understanding their significance is a deeply moving experience.
Complete Ziyarat Guide — Madinah al-Munawwarah
Masjid al-Nabawi and Rauza Mubarak The mosque of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Madinah is the second most sacred place in Islam. A single prayer offered here carries the reward of 1,000 prayers offered elsewhere, according to an authentic Hadith. The Rauza Mubarak — the blessed grave of the Prophet (PBUH) — is located inside the mosque. Visiting and offering Salaam upon the Prophet (PBUH), Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) and Hazrat Umar (RA) is one of the greatest honours any Muslim can experience.
Riyadh ul Jannah — The Garden of Paradise The Prophet (PBUH) said — Between my house and my pulpit is a garden from the gardens of Paradise. This refers to the area known as Riyadh ul Jannah, located inside Masjid al-Nabawi between the Prophet's blessed chamber and his Minbar. Pilgrims make great effort to pray two rakah nafl and make dua in this blessed spot. Our group is taken there during early morning hours when it is less crowded.
Jannat ul Baqi The sacred graveyard of Madinah where thousands of companions of the Prophet (PBUH) rest, including his beloved daughter Hazrat Fatimah al-Zahra (RA), his wives, and many Sahaba who sacrificed everything for Islam. Visiting Jannat ul Baqi after Fajr prayer, when the gates open, is a deeply emotional and spiritually powerful experience.
Masjid Quba The first mosque ever built in Islam — constructed by the Prophet (PBUH) himself using his own blessed hands upon his arrival in Madinah after the Hijra. An authentic Hadith states that praying two rakah nafl in Masjid Quba carries a reward equal to performing one complete Umrah. Our group visits this mosque as part of the Madinah Ziyarat tour.
Jabal Uhud The mountain that witnessed the Battle of Uhud in the third year of Hijra. The grave of Hazrat Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib (RA) — the Prophet's uncle and companion, known as the Lion of Allah — is located at the foot of this mountain along with the graves of 70 other martyrs. The Prophet (PBUH) himself wept here and called it a blessed mountain that loves us and that we love.
Masjid al-Qiblatayn The Mosque of Two Qiblas — so named because it was here, during a congregational prayer, that the divine command came to change the Qibla direction from Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem to Masjid al-Haram in Makkah. The imam and congregation turned mid-prayer — a unique and historic moment in Islamic history.
Sab'a Masajid — The Seven Mosques A cluster of small historic mosques located at the site of the Battle of Khandaq — the Battle of the Trench. Includes the mosque of Hazrat Salman al-Farsi (RA), who suggested the strategic idea of digging the trench, and the mosque of Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA). A deeply meaningful visit for any student of Islamic history.
Masjid al-Ghamama One of the oldest mosques in Madinah — built at the spot where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) performed Eid prayers on multiple occasions. The name Ghamama means cloud — as it is said that a cloud would shade the Prophet (PBUH) during prayer here.
Madinah Dates Market The famous date market of Madinah is a must-visit for every pilgrim. Authentic Ajwa dates — described in Hadith as protection against poison and magic — are available here in the freshest quality. Also available are Medjool, Safawi, Amber and many other varieties. Buy plenty for your family and friends — there is no gift from a holy land more precious than Madinah dates.
